Laminate floors are the new generation of technology in the flooring industry. Generally most manufacturers produce a 3/8"-5/16" thick x 7-1/2" width, tongue and groove plank and strip product in varying lengths and tile product 3/8" - 5/16" thick in 15" x 15" squares depending upon the manufacturer. The flooring is very durable, harder than solid wood, wear resistant, stain resistant, and easy to clean. Depending upon the manufacturer, warranties cover wear, fade, and stain for 15 to 25 years .

The color and pattern selection is virtually unlimited because of the way the floor is manufactured. Laminate flooring is made by putting a high abrasion wear layer (melamine sheet) over decorative craft paper and glued to a high density fiber board.

Laminate floors are “floating floors,” that is, they are not glued or nailed to the sub floors in your home or business.  The planks or tiles are glued to each other or snapped together with little or no glue.  So, your new laminate floor will “float” over the existing floors in your home.  Please call our offices to have one of our associates cone to your property to assess your particular needs.
